We the undersigned petition Westminster City Council to Martin lewis. More details
Petition update from the council, 17 October 2018Dear Mr Lewis,
Westminster Council shares your concerns regarding Pedicabs. We currently have no powers to regulate Pedicabs and that is why we have been working with Transport for London and the Government to bring forward legislation to regulate Pedicabs.
There is currently a Pedicabs (London) Bill being considered by Parliament. Should it be backed by MPs, Transport for London will be given the powers to regulate Pedicabs under a licensing regime which is similar to that which operates for taxis.

I petition the Council to make moves to regulate /licence the Pedicabs/rickshaws that ply their trade around the west end, they block pavements and roads and charge exorbitant fares .Also they should have DBS checks to protect the public.
A fare of 30 pounds to Westminster Abbey from Buckingham Palace is appalling.
They are a RISK to the public.
