More details from petition creator

We the undersigned residents of Church Street Estate Site 1, have considered the proposals for our homes as presented by Westminster Council, Urban Initiatives and The Church Street Neighbourhood Management and we reject them. We believe that adding a further 30 new families onto this site will cause overcrowding and tension. Whilst acknowledging that our communal areas do need updating and ‘Greening Up’ we like the layout of Wytham, Wey & Loddon Houses and do not want to see them demolished. We do not believe that these proposals can be the answer to our problems.

We call upon all concerned regarding the FUTURES PLAN to abandon current proposals to demolish Wytham, Wey & Loddon Houses and add 30 new households to Site 1. We urge you to more carefully consider how to improve our living conditions, without demolishing our homes and adding more families.
